Amelia's Army of Angels
In 2016, she was diagnosed with neuroblastoma shortly before her 2nd birthday. A mango-sized tumor was removed from her abdomen. Through the grace of God and the world-class team at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh, the entire tumor was resected, and she has had no evidence of disease for the last 10 years!
Amelia is one of the most fortunate patients. For many other children, they require multiple treatments and repeated hospital visits/stays.
For all of those who experience the level of excellence in the care at CHP, we all know how lucky we are to have this amazing facility in our own backyard.
Due to all of these reasons, we are passionate about giving back so that other kids and their families have the same opportunity that we had to be cared for so well.
Please consider joining our team for the walk! If you can't join the team, please consider donating in Amelia's honor as we strive to meet our fundraising goal!
Thank you for your support as we Walk for Children’s!
Love,
The Swisher Family
