We are walking in Walk for Children’s presented by UPMC and UPMC Health Plan for someone very special to us—Dara.

Dara was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease and Ulcerative Colitis and spent months in UPMC Children’s Hospital. During that time, she faced challenges most people could never imagine, but she was surrounded by compassionate doctors, nurses, and caregivers who helped carry her through.

Today, Dara is healthy, strong, and determined to give back to the place that helped change her life.

As her team, we are walking to support her story and to stand for every child and family currently facing their own battles. We want to help provide the same hope, healing, and care that Dara received.
