Luca is a 6-year-old boy whom is followed at the UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh for care of his complex congenital heart disease. Luca was diagnosed with RV dilation, bicuspid aortic valve, mitral stenosis and a hypoplastic aortic arch with coarctation of the aorta. He has undergone multiple surgical procedures since birth and will continue to require close monitoring with a comprehensive plan of care in the future.
