Welcome to My Personal Page!
Last June, when we welcomed our daughter Rosie, we spent 11 days in the NICU at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh—something I never expected. At just 3 days old, the teams in the Emergency Department and NICU saved her life.
Those were some of the hardest days of my life, but the doctors and nurses cared for Rosie with incredible expertise and compassion, while also supporting me and my family every step of the way. I truly don’t know what we would have done without them.
Today, Rosie continues her care with the endocrinology team—ranked among the best in the country—and I’m so grateful we have access to that level of care close to home.
Now at 9 months old, Rosie is thriving. She’s chatty, bubbly, full of personality, and such a happy baby—and I don’t take a single moment of that for granted.
I’m walking in Walk for Children’s as her mom, to give back to the place and the people who saved her life and continue to care for her. If you’re able to donate, thank you—it truly means so much to our family and helps other families receive the same life-saving care when they need it most.
