I am participating in Walk for Children’s presented by UPMC and UPMC Health Plan because I want to help revolutionize children’s health.

This cause is deeply personal to me. My daughter, Justice Joi, spent time in the NICU at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. That experience changed my life in ways I can’t fully put into words. It was a time filled with fear, strength, hope, and faith, and it showed me just how critical access to quality care and support truly is for families.

Because of her journey, I now advocate for NICU families through Justice4Joi NICU Support, working to ensure no parent feels alone during one of the most difficult seasons of their life.

I will be joining thousands of others in my community and across the world in the fight to power the advanced care that can change a child’s life.
