I’m participating in the Walk for Children’s, presented by UPMC and UPMC Health Plan, because I believe every child deserves access to world-class care and a fighting chance for a healthy future. On June 7, I’ll be walking alongside thousands in our community—and around the world—to help revolutionize children’s health and power the advanced treatments that can truly change lives.

In November 2023, my cousin’s daughter, Maeve Kreiger, was diagnosed with B-Cell Leukemia at just 8 months old. Over the past 18 months, Maeve has shown incredible strength—enduring countless hospital stays, intensive treatments, and regular outpatient visits.

Thanks to her incredible care team at UPMC Children’s Hospital, and the love and support of her family and friends, Maeve hit a major milestone in February 2025: one year in remission! She continues to bravely fight and is on track to complete treatment by December 2025.
