The Rafferty Boys at last year's FOTHC Picnic / Walk for Children's
My three sons are the light of my life and are all bilateral cochlear implant users. They are my reason for supporting the Friends of the Hearing Center (FOTHC). We are eternally grateful for the care they have received at Children's, and the professionals and other families we have met on this hearing journey have experienced so many of the most important moments of their young lives with us.
The Friends of the Hearing Center Walk for Children's family picnic will be held June 8th at North Park. The walk / picnic is a great opportunity to reconnect with those people we may not have seen since the last walk / picnic – we look forward to it every year.
The Friends of the Hearing Center (FOTHC) is part of the UPMC Children's Hospital Foundation. 100% of the proceeds of the event will benefit the FOTHC and the excellent programs offered to families and educators throughout the year. The Walk for Children’s hosted by the UPMC Children’s Hospital Foundation is the same day at Schenley Park, but this event has developed over the years to offer a unique opportunity to build-on the infrastructure of that event with a picnic for FOTHC families.
