As a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, I joined the Friend's of the Hearing Center in the Walk for Children's because it directly supports my students by providing them with critical audiological services, hearing aids, cochlear implants, assistive technology, and so much more. The Friends of the Hearing Center and this hospital plays a vital role in helping my students access sound, communication, and learning—foundations that empower them to reach their full potential. Walking was my way of giving back to a place that gives so much to the children and families I serve every day!
