Walking for Friends of the Hearing Center

I might be biased but my students are some of the best kiddos in the world. I feel so honored to have a chance to teach them and watch them grow into amazing human beings! Friends of the Hearing Center (FOTHC) does SO much to support my students and the annual Walk is a chance for me to help give back to them! Please consider registering to join us at North Park, walk virtually from wherever you are, or just donate whatever you can to support their incredible mission.
The Friends of the Hearing Center at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh raises money for programs that support the goal of long-term independence for children with hearing loss. Donations enable children with hearing loss to have access to the resources and support they need. All Hearing Center programs are funded entirely by donations and fundraising.
Here are some of the awesome things that your donation goes towards:
$5 helps to buy a retention solution for a child
$15 helps provides books with deaf/hard of hearing characters to local school libraries
$50 funds a language therapy bag for a child and their family
$100 sponsors an educator in the Teacher Grant Program
$250 gifts a child enrollment to the Music to My Ears Program
Thank you!!!!
