Welcome to My Personal Page

Friends & Family,
My sons, Declan and Bennett, were born with genetic sensorineural hearing loss. They have been so lucky and are now teenagers who are succeeding along side their typical hearing peers. They inspire me.
I have worked with the Hearing Center Auxiliary at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh for ten years. May (Better Hearing and Speech month) is usually a VERY busy time for us. We dress up and celebrate with supporters at Casino Royale. We work with student champions to raise awareness and money through Cheers for Ears. However, with everyone sheltering in place this year, all fund raising and awareness activities are on hold.
But, the need for support still exists. Jessica Lampert, our Educational Liaison, is still hard at work supporting Hearing Center families. Her position is entirely funded by donations and is just one of the important ways your support can help children with hearing loss.
On Saturday, June 6, my family will be part of the Cheers for Ears team and are virtually participating in the fifth annual Walk for Children’s. All funds raised for the Cheers for Ears team will directly benefit patients of the Hearing Center. Please join us and thousands of patients, families, and supporters of UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh to help make a difference in the lives of the kids in our community and beyond.
Please help me reach my fundraising goal by making a donation to my page.
Thank you for doing your part to support the sort of healing care and innovative programs that are changing lives. Gifts like yours make all the difference!
Gratefully,
Hadley
